I started to advertise my game, spending around 12k robux for this week on sponsors to see how popular / successful the game can be. I created a discord webhook to notify me whenever a player completes a quest or starts a quest. From the data that I have seen from the webhook, most players complete the first quest, and they may start a second quest. I was wondering if you guys can check out the game and see how I could improve the game.
I joined the game and played around for a bit, took part in a tourney - here’s the best advice I can give:
Worldbuilding
I didn’t do many quests until I took part in a tourney, so I didn’t have much time to explore the gameworld - but I think some worldbuilding would help. By worldbuilding I mean give some depth and life into the gameworld, a story for the players to get invested in.
Gunplay
Aside from getting players invested into the game, the gameplay itself is equally important. For this game, I think a big thing is going to be gunplay. I liked what there was so far, but I think it could be improved upon. I made a post on gunplay, which you can see here
Edit: in your game, the guns feel weird to use in first person, because they point pretty far to the side. Fixing that would make them feel a lot better
Hope this helps!
Also, keep up with the community events! Those are fun, and will help foster a loyal fanbase and community. Personally, one thing I do is I do a showcase/event for every major update on my projects, which usually get a good number of people to show up.
