How to save my failing game?

Hello I’m Astraminy!

I’ve recently finished up on a game I’ve been working on for a few months called “Discarded”
Game Link: -DISCARDED- - Roblox

Context

This is my second time advertising this game, My first was a fail so I looked for feedback on how to improve and I got some good feedback!

After changing alot about my game I’ve advertised it a second time and what i’m noticing is that both time’s I’ve advertised I got positive feedback from the player’s but almost all the time I would get somebody that would note they is always not enough players to play the game.

The game need’s at least 4+ Player’s to play the game. But since from what it Seem’s the advertising goes in waves which causes people who join late to not be able to play the game, and any returning players are met with no other players to play.

This mean’s most people who join my game leave after realizing they isn’t enough people to play. Which causes a continual loop of people joining and leaving.

The game is similar to “The Trials” and “Sacrifice Sanctuary”.

How do I get enough players to return to my game, similar to the game’s listed above?

you have to invest in ads (or other methods) to build up player base. focus on making 20 CCU (constantly or at peak hours) so they can play the game properly.
Do it for two weeks or until the algorithm (home recommendation/HR) pick up your game.
Analyze your game try to make session time over 3 mins, this is the criteria for HR to count the player for Qualify Play Through Rate (QPTR).

Do thumbnail AB tests and tweak the detail description to improve the various click through rates and thus QPTR.

Then or at the same time, improve other metrics

Thank you for the feedback. I’ll tweak the description and thumbnails a bit

How much would you recommend I invest to maintain 20 CCU constantly for 2 weeks?

i can’t say for sure, but you may want to start small. target only one or two countries. one side of the gender, and the relevant genre that fits your game.
maybe 10-20 usd, adjust the max bid so it can brings in enough players. This is a learning process, sometimes it brings in so much players it is spending the budget like a firework.
at the early stages, you want to collect the stats in order to improve the game and metrics. so when later HR kicks in, you metrics are good enough to sustain the traffic.

20 ad credits daily for 2 weeks straight might work
