How to snap to grid in blender

I was looking for a way to do this, because i can’t tell the exact size of each face so i was wondering if there was a way to do this.

There should be a magnet icon on the top part of the viewport, if you click it snap to grid will turn on

Thanks, also do you know how i can resize the grid?
