How to turn off the holding shift to bypass snap to grid thing?

Context: I can drag smth, then hold Shift & S to back up a bit, then let go a tad bit delayed… booo, now that part has an x-axis length of 5.2142.

It’s kind of annoying to accidentally use Shift to fly slower when I’m trying to pan around something I’m building right after editing a part, and letting go half a second too late would result in the Shift press taking effect on the selected part, making it turn into some inconsistent nonsense, and it is really hard to notice since usually the changes are subtle and you sometimes do things too fast.

Are there ways to just disable the ability to hold shift to bypass snapping?

If this doesn’t exist, Someone write it up as a feature request, or I can.
