hello how would I animate a rig made out of one cube in blender

i made a character in blender out of one cube and i want to animate it for swords running ect how would i go about this its one part

I don’t know if this could help, but in this video I think he uses vertex groups and that sorts of stuff to rig it How to make FPS Animations in Blender 2.8+ - YouTube
