How would I go about changing the maximum ground obstacle height for a humanoid?

Hi there!

First off I’ll explain what I mean by maximum ground obstacle height.
By my definition, this is the maximum height a part can be for a humanoid to still walk over it without jumping (i.e. think stairs). Essentially what this says is if the obstacle is 2.5 studs high, you can still transition from your current height onto the part, however if the part is 2.6 studs high it will stop you.

I’ve come into issues with changing this height in the past but have sort of got it working by changing the HumanoidHipHeight. This only seems to work with R15 characters that follow the default Roblox template, as now I’ve started to experiment with custom characters it seems to no longer work.
How would I resolve this? I would just put invisible slopes up stairs, but that’s way less reliable and is really just a lazy fix. I’m sure there will be some way to change the height easily without having to place loads of transparent sloped parts everywhere, and plus if I forget to do this in one single place the game will be so much more annoying to play.

Honestly I can’t find much on this, probably because there aren’t many people as me who actually care about dumb things like this, but still if anyone knows that’d be really helpful.

Thanks.
