How would I improve this asylum based horror game im making?

So I pretty much want to make one of the best horror games on the whole roblox platform, I’ve worked SO MUCH on this game but its still barely anything. Kinda dissapointing in my eyes but hopefully you guys can help me out!

Currently the story is like:
A few years ago your mother was sent to the asylum for extra care ever since her attempted suicide, she said she saw “Shadow people” and couldn’t take it anymore. You didn’t think about it much until well the new owners came along. The place was bought by GenVation Labs; where the new owners are rumored to conduct “Experiments” on its patients. I started to see the shadows my mother used to tell me off; and I immediately thought of going back there and figuring out what was happening.

How would I make it scarier?, How would I make it look better?, What should I do with the story line?

Note: The game used to be called mimic and had a different story line but yeah changed it because another game came out.

I tried future lighting but I want my game to look good on all graphic qualities so yeah screw that. How to make scary tho :open_mouth:

Can’t do this on Roblox.

Borderline, be careful using it (or don’t use it at all)

Why not make it so you are the one in the asylum seeing the shadows and you have to figure out what’s going on with yourself?

Do you have any ideas on how to make the game look scarier tho?

It looks plenty scary to me. I’m not a big fan of horror games so I’m not sure what to recommend but it looks great so far.
