How would I make this Blender render more unique?

Heya Everyone!!

I’m trying to find a way to make my renders more unique and generally making them look more professional-ish. Here’s a quick render I made for this post. I’m trying to fix the lighting, camera angle, and maybe the pose to look less awkward and boring.

Something I find very fun is when a camera has a ‘fish-eye’ lens, so the field of view is extremely high. This greatly enhances dynamic poses and can make poses very dramatic when used properly.

(an example from me)

Although, the effect might not come out as good with Roblox avatars as their limbs are very blocky and simplified. Either way, I encourage you to search up ‘dynamic poses’, these are always great inspiration.

Thanks for the fisheye effect! I think it’ll seem cool to try implementing with it with my renders alongside taking dynamic poses into account. Though, how would I improve my lighting? I use a Blender plugin called “Tri-lighting” which helps me create those three lights for rendering and such.

A simple rim light goes a long way!

(Place a bright light source behind the character so it highlights behind them)

You may also want to experiment with giving cool outlines to the character. You can do this through more complicated Blender processes such as setting up a shader or using geometry nodes, but I find it easier just to open the render in Photoshop and use a layer outline effect, or draw in the effects myself.
