How would I replicate this effect when I hit someone?

Hey guys I’m making a combat system and I’m creating some vfx for when the character is hit i I was wondering how to replicate hit effects like this for my system

I’ve tried highlights but they do not have the same look

Clone all the body parts, parent each to their respective origin, set to masseless to true and cancollide to false, weld to origin part, then decorate.
