I have a game, but I find that the sounds on it aren’t very good, nor are the ones on the Marketplace (aka Store). I want to import my own sounds, but I usually use websites like Pixabay, which require they be attributed with the link. I think adding the link would break TOS, and knowing I’m not ideally in good standing, I would rather not risk that.
I know there’s a paid version of Pixabay, but I don’t have a job, nor any way to get money to pay for it. Does anyone know any other websites or a way to get around this? This isn’t urgent, but I would like if there was a good way to avoid getting banned or sued.
In a case like this, it really depends on the sounds you need. Something I used to do for my games is get creative with them. For example, I made a chase song using breathing noises I found on Roblox and applying effects to them. If you can’t find a sound you like, I’d recommend checking out freesound.org for sounds that don’t require attribution.
