HSR doesn't load in despite having a cage ID

this been happening a good while but its getting to a point where its becoming a massive hassle to create layered clothing if the HSR/caging system just will not load in. This is the error that shows up when i use the accessory fitter for a layered clothing piece

and as you can see here, there is infact an ID in the properties in the wraplayer

testing clothing on studio

what it looks like on the fitter

I just know it isn’t an issue on my end because i have everything caged like it should, it just does NOT want to work

Hey there, sorry for the delay. Is this reproducible all the time? Could you provide the asset ID or DM an FBX we could use to reproduce this?

Hi, following up o this one and @windsurfdrewl’s post. Are you still seeing this issue when uploading new assets?

Hey, sometimes i will have the issue but the frequency is random. Last time its happened was around a month ago for 3/6 of the item batch i uploaded

Thanks for the response! So when it’s happening - does uploading the same item again fix the issue or does it consistently happen with a specific item? Am trying to narrow down why this could be happening, and replicate if possible.

Reuploading sometimes fixes it but not all the time. More often than not i have to reimport the mesh entirely for it to work properly

Hey I was able to replicate this using an asset from this thread: Layered clothing appears different in studio than on the app

We’re actively investigating this. Could you send me the asset in question? Thanks!

Hello, we appear to have the same issue with an asset that we uploaded recently.
