Less I’m missing a method and haven’t found any new ones.
I’m currently making a game and want to allow for accessory adjustment. However it appears it’s completely gone and it’s probably due to humanoiddescription.
Is there anyway to allow for it when reverting the player back to normal?
I’m heading off to bed, I’ll lead you with the code snippet responsible.
local newSkinFolder = item ~= "player" and SHOP_DATA.Skins:FindFirstChild(item.name) or "player"
local appearanceTimeout = tick()
repeat task.wait() until player:HasAppearanceLoaded() or tick() - appearanceTimeout >= 3
if newSkinFolder and newSkinFolder ~= "player" then
local replyResult = cosmeticsHandler.applySkin(player, newSkinFolder)
repeat task.wait() until replyResult
elseif not newSkinFolder or newSkinFolder == "player" then
local playerDescription = players:GetHumanoidDescriptionFromUserId(player.UserId > 0 and player.UserId or 1)
player:ClearCharacterAppearance()
player.Character.Humanoid:ApplyDescription(playerDescription)
end
Shouldn’t humanoiddescriptions also include support for accessory adjustment?
