HumanoidRootPart anchoring results in humanoid bugs

If you anchor your own HumanoidRootPart (and nothing else), you can still move around (on your client only; no one else sees the movement) on the x and z axes, but not on the y axis. I think this is because of some weird relationship between Torso (the old main part) and HumanoidRootPart or old code that still assumes things about Torso being the main part. If you anchor all of your parts, you can still move your camera on the x and z axes, but not on the y. These are the two I’ve found, but there’s probably others.

is Y just jumping? Or did you try falling or walking up a ramp as well?

I’d just avoid anchoring that part. Isn’t it’s use for animations anyway?

I walked off of the baseplate, and got stuck mid-air.
