Humanoid's Movedirection property isn't updating

Today, I was attempting to make a fanmade version of one of my less popular, but favorite games, Hypermutation. However, I (sorry for mentioning this, but I just saw ground-to-cloud lightning outside, which I shouldn’t be mentioning, but it isn’t on wikipedia, sooo- wait I just got incredibly sidetracked didn’t I) seem to be encountering an error where my ship’s Movedirection value is stuck at Vector3.new(0, 0, 0). How could I fix this?

seems like for some reason MoveDirection isnt updated for non-player Humanoids. really weird. also good luck on your Hypermutation fangame! im also a fan of Hypermutation and shame it seems like it was discontinued.
