I had an issue where an hours worth of progress was lost, and I thought something strange happened with the team create server, so I made a copy of the current version of the game and reverted to a past version of when I last worked on it yesterday. I couldn’t find the version with the progress that was lost, but I still had the back up file of the current version, and when I tried to publish that backup file into the group game, it just simply doesn’t update. Does anyone know how to properly publish the game file? I tried to do everything and it failed to publish any changes in the back up file. I tried “Save to Roblox as” as well with no results. I have tried with both team create off and on.
Are you the holder of that game you are trying to put the game file in?
Yes I am the owner of the group.
I experienced similar problems but it worked once the holder of the team create added the game file in. Must be a bug for you.
Odd thing is that playing the game actually has the updated place. It’s just when editing it.
Wait, scratch that, the only reason that is true is because it was the last published version. As far as studio cares it is the old version. I can’t even revert to the last published version of the game
