I can't upload a mesh for my game

I’m having a problem trying to import a mesh into a MeshPart in studio and I keep getting this error:
Unable to publish MeshPart: Inappropriate name.

I changed the name in my file explorer many, MANY times and It still does not work. I did these names:
Cylinder, nothing, and others.

What is going on here?

This might not be it but could the file path have something that might get filtered? If not, are you uploading it and renaming it as something that might be filtered?

Move it to documents, or make a new folder named meshes. Just move it to something with a super easy name, then name it something like RobloxMesh.

It still did not work. I made a folder named "Meshes, renamed the mesh to “RobloxMesh”, and it still didn’t work…

The file is this:
RobloxMesh.obj

Try uploading un related meshes, studio could be down or maybe the mesh is just being weird for some reason.

How do I upload an unrelated mesh?

Sorry! Poor wording on my part! Just use a privative from your choice of 3d software, Privatives are the basic shapes like a sphere. So just try uploading a cube to see if it uploads.

Oh, okay.

Unrelated: but I used blender for this.

Did not work. I tried uploading a file named cube.obj, and it just didn’t work. Gave me the same error.

I would just take a break and then come back later then. Studio is just glitching for you.

Is the account you are uploading it on under 13 - accounts that are under 13 are restricted from uploading meshes and usually get errors.

It is under 13 but I have uploaded meshes on it before and it worked just fine…

That would be why you are getting the error.

I agree with Nick on the age restriction as I had to create an alt account to be able to upload meshes. Also, if it fails to upload too many times due to the strange name error( which seems to be the default error back) then you will be blocked from uploading new meshes for a period of time.
I read somewhere to rename your mesh to “dog” before upload to make sure that you don’t get hit by the name error, but not sure how true that is.
