I found a cool effect

Idk if people have figured this out long ago, but I just found this while making smth.

I added a highlight and made the part’s material neon.
It’s very simple. Can someone tell me if this has already been seen? Cuz Idk why but I feel like not many ppl knew about this.

(RESPECTFULLY) – As something as basic as this … I didn’t even consider the fact that this could work :wilted_flower:

–I havn’t used highlights in quite a while so thats a neat trick :")

I tried it and it did nothing, are you sure you just inserted the highlight into the part and made the part neon and nothing else?

dont abuse this too much theres a limit to how many highlight instances can be active at once (30 something iirc)
if you got multiple parts just group em up into a model and insert a highlight into the model, its gonna automatically apply to all its descendants

True – but if I do recall, they greatly increased it to like 200 I think? But still, they can add up pretty fast :")

Idk if this matters, but I did it on a mesh.

They did??

Are you playing/running the game instead of just looking at it from studio?

This is nice and interesting! Very good!

Oh wait, is ur graphics level at max? I’m pretty sure if it’s not then the neon won’t glow
