Topic name: I have a issue with building, need answers from all over roblox!
Salutations! My name is Adrien or 28Flaw. I have been a builder for over four years, from 12 to 16 years of age. Yet, I still am not good, It’s kind of like I have no will to build, basically here’s what I need, thanks for reading this too!
The Issue
I always was very active and used to build alot. Nowadays, I just start building, insert random parts, leave and just play roblox games i.e Jailbreak, this is kind of similar to procastination, but it’s weird… I also feel like I don’t know what to build and then that causes me playing jailbreak and procastinating.
How do you think you can help me with this, let me know below!
You could always find inspiration and then build it, or you could set a certain amount of time where you will build then have a break and play games. Hope this helps!
I suggest trying to make cool ideas that you have in mind, if you want to make a truck, just try! You’ll learn how to build on the process. Building is not fun if you have no intentions, so try to find something that you’d want to make before actually making stuff. As you build several models, you will find your own style.

I was in a similar situation not too long ago, and then started playing some games, and I realised how much time goes into building the simplest things like trees! For example adopt me, How there is multiple different types of nice trees, They look like they were made in blender. So then I tried harder, because I’m determined to make Roblox developing a living. I decided that I would keep on going and Aim to make a front page game, or help others with making theirs. Roblox is all about helping others! And building your imagination
The problem you’re having is a distraction. Your like completely addicted to Jailbreak. You should like build everyday and give at least 4 hours a day. Taking inspirations from games like difficulty chart obby and vibe games might come in handy. Hope this helps out
Always build something that you would actually have fun making! I always have these great images in mind of what I would like to create, and when I start building, I just see how the build starts coming together!
Also try not to have many distractions around, but if you have fun building, then that shouldn’t even be a problem!
This can ponder down to ‘procrastination’ however if you can’t think about what to create. Brainstorm a bunch of ideas and consider writing them down on a piece of paper, thinking of creative ideas or getting inspiration can vary depending on what interest you; use websites or view images something that you could get an idea from.
The best way to get ideas is to make something your interested in and it depends on what you want to create, going into studio playing around with certain things is good you just need to have small ideas in mind. Inserting things in can also give you creative ideas just (avoid distractions)
If you have an idea on what to build off of reference images go from there. Start small and gather inspiration either from real life creations, or from something that interest you.
