I Have Some Questions About the Forum Mechanics

Hello developers,

Despite the amount of time I have spent on this Forum, I still ponder about some technical questions. This is just for curiosity and for my information, nothing more.

  1. Suppose a Member posts a topic in, let us say #help-and-feedback:scripting-support category, and a New Member likes, bookmarks, or even replies to that topic. And then, the Member decides to move the topic to a category like #lounge:roblox-discussion (where New Members cannot access it). Would the like or reply from the New Member still stay there on the topic? Also, would the likes, bookmarks, or replies still be saved in the New Member’s profile?

  2. At what point does a topic display as having a high/very high/extremely high like to post ratio (when the first number above turns orange)? I have seen many topics with a lot of likes for the original post as well as many likes for the few replies following it, but it does not display the orange text.
  3. Also, at what point does the view amount turn orange? Is it when there is more than a 1000 views, or is it when a lot of views accumulate over a short period of time?
  4. When does this bar appear at the bottom of a topic (only the one displaying the replies, views, users, likes, and links)? Some topics do not have it, while others do. Additionally, when does the “Summarize This Topic” button show up and how does it decide what post to show?

Thank you for reading this,
any answers would be appreciated.

Yes

They would be saved and they will keep counting on the statistics, but you can only see them on that person’s profile (incl the person themselves) if they have viewing access to those items.

The 10th, 25th and 45th percentile of posts ordered by like-to-post ratio.

Same as above, 10th, 25th and 45th percentile of posts ordered by view count over a specific time period.

>= 50 posts in topic.
