When i import a model from blender the images appear whit a white background, can somebody help me fix this problem?
I don’t think you can get rid of that because the texture is either being exported as a .jpeg or that white is the model itself. Try filling in all of the white space. Alternatively, you could remodel it to fit the texture.
the picture had no white color on it, it was transparent background and it worked on blender, but in roblox it appears white
I’ve had that issue as well, with transparent images. I was trying to use SurfaceAppearance with baked textures. Never got it to work, so I am waiting for them to better support SA.
Alpha layers currently aren’t supported for Meshparts, however a change is coming that will allow it.
As a temporary work-around, separate your foliage from the trunk, and apply the texture as a Decal to each leaf.
It’s a pain in the ass to do, I know, but it’s the best option until we have Alpha support.
Thanks, do you know if there is any way to curve a decal, or apply it to a curved invisible part?
Also might wanna remove “ass” in your comment, kids will see it.
The decal is on a curved mesh - they apply across the top “surface” of the entire object. So just apply it to an invisible Meshpart.
Also kids can get over seeing the word “ass” if I’m calling a process a pain in one. The dev forums is 13+. This is pedantic to discuss further.
export it and then remove the white using photoshop?
