What are you attempting to achieve? I am trying to make a tight turn for my racing game.
-
What is the issue? Right now, the turn I have isn’t that smooth.
-
What solutions have you tried so far? I have tried to make a ton of separate parts but that is really hard.
Try using the plugin Archimedes 2 to add an additional part at a certain angle and then use the GapFill plugin to fill in between the two parts.
Try using this https://web.roblox.com/catalog/144938633/Archimedes-Two-v2-4
@CroatiaSwitzerland there is no need for any plugins.
If your grid is off, turn it on. Set your grid to the grid as shown on the picture
Then, lay a thin brick for the road, and then rotate it 1 by 1 precisely.
If you had rotated two, you can copy paste them and do it until you’re satisfied.
Your result should look something like this
EDIT: Oh and btw you also need to turn off Collisions for this to work. (tab just left of the Grid tab)
Though I think it would be easier for the OP just to use plugins due to their pure convenience, that’s a good idea!
I’m just suggesting my own method because that’s what I do and that’s what I was used to. (I am on here since 2011 and plugins didn’t exist back then)
When I’m using Archimedes 2, I can’t seem to make a smooth turn like this.
How can I make it look like that?Try the settings or try and fix it with more parts? also try what @BuiIdTheBuilder said.
You could also try to use multiple Bézier curves or a specific road creation plugin.
