So i need some help creating a more cartoon style modern character customization screen and I can’t think of something that looks good.
What i currently have started out with:
I need help
I want to create a fun intriguing interface 
Any ideas?

Maybe for some dynamics, make it so when a player hovers their mouse over a button it bounces out, And assuming you want to make a cartoony design, I would use viewports for the character or a seperate room kind of thing like the avatar section on the roblox website (on mobile).
As for the buttons, I don’t think a gradient would go well with a cartoon style unless it’s a radial gradient
An example from the internet, The character can go in place of the “iceberg” character and then the clothes can be positioned in the places of the “blob” “fur ball” “fluffy ent” “soil” and “crystal” characters
Ill be adding some transitional effects
To be honest if you are trying to make the UI “funny”, Material/Flat/Aqua design is definitely not a good option.
Maybe try using texture for UI, check TedArthur’s works and you will find out his UI really interesting.
My desired goal is not funny but simplistic
