- What do you want to achieve?
I want to find someone who wants to buy my already made sketch and I want some feedback too.
- What is the issue?
I was commissioned to do a fullbody with a dynamic pose and a simple background. The issue is that since this is my first commission I didn’t want to “scare him away” so I accepted to do it for 50 ROBUX, what a mistake. Now I’ve realized that I was basically doing it for free, so I told him that if he wasn’t going to be paying me more, I wasn’t going to continue working on it. He has seen my message but hasn’t responded, so I’m assuming that he is not going to be paying me more, I really like how this drawing was turning out and I don’t want it to go to waste, if you’re interested in buying the already made sketch (I can remove the accessories but I would like to keep the jeans and the sweater if possible since those are parts that were hard to make, and they came out good)
I would like to be paid between 1500 robux and 2000 or even more (since I don’t really know what would be fair pricing (that’s how the issue started in the first place lol also I was WAY too easy to bend) so I would like some suggestions on that too)
If you’re interested, please DM me on Discord Kawaii-Kiwi#0696 and if you don’t have a Discord we can find another way to talk privately.

This is an example of how my lineart looks, this piece was finished today.

Pardon me for being that guy, but there’s no way I’d pay about $20 worth of robux for your art as it is right now.

Don’t worry I’m really looking for something fair so any advice is good advice, the piece I put as an example is fixed (the app was glitching out and made it look wonky) so please check it out again (if you meant “my art as it is right now” because of the example that was there before) and tell me how much would be a fair price, thank you.
Based on the quality of your work, I’d say a fair price to charge for your art would be maybe somewhere between 160 and 400 robux. (Worth about 2-5 dollars of real money.) You could probably get away with bumping it up to 480 robux as well, but I think I definitely wouldn’t risk going any higher than 500 unless you think your art is really worth it. I also just don’t really think most people on the site would want to spend that much for art. Ultimately though, how you price your art is up to you.

I forgot to mention one other thing here; You could price your art based on the amount of work you’re doing as well. Most people will have different prices depending on what they’re drawing. (I.e - $5 dollars for headshots, $15 for halfbodies, $25 for fullbodies, and so on)
Overall, I’d say that whatever price you set for commissions should be something that is affordable for the average person but also something that’s going to get you a decent profit.

Thank you for the advice! I’ll have to prepare myself better before I try to sell my art again though… If you have any suggestions on reaching out to people and finding clients it would help me a lot, for now I’m just going to draw a lot of examples. Thank you so much again!
