I need some suggestions for entity designs

Hey everyone, I’ve been working on this project for about 2 weeks now and I’m now at the point where I have to create my own entities / characters for this game.

If you’re interested enough to learn about the “backstory” or “context” of the game here you go
Description:

Friendly Neighborhood:

The entities know who you are. They know what you’ve done. Souls embedded and trapped into an inanimate object that watch your every step. The sun and the happy residents refuse to frown or retaliate, it’s not like they can anyway.
Skies beam bright blue with artificial drawn clouds. A beautiful life.

Here’s the current character designs so you grasp onto the sorta style I’m making:

Anyways enough of that, the main idea is I need suggestions for some new character ideas or what they should do, specifically the “rotten” category, if there’s any other category you think I should make I’m more than happy to try do. but yeah, give me any new character design ideas and I’ll give my opinion on them

I’m also going to exclaim that the passive category already has their functions (dude on left is terrified of you and runs away from hostiles, because he knows what you did. dude on right pretty much does nothing)

So far, the hostile category inspects the player, circles them, if the player moves then they will grab the players neck and kill them.

The rotten category i’m not sure what to do with

Maybe you could do some sort of flesh pile, or a tangle of bodies that roll around like tumbleweed?

The current designs you have for your “rotten” entities make me think of stationary/environmental hazards, since they don’t seem to have any way of moving.
An example of stationary enemies I can currently think of are Arcane Odyssey’s clam/urchin/jellyfish “enemies”, which have/drop resources but damage you on contact (however you can avoid clams if you are quick enough).

really really interesting idea actually i’ll see what i can do about the flesh pile

make one randomly start following you at a just noticeable distance but they dont really do anything

but make it so its not guaranteed for them to start following you

and idk before it stops following you it runs close then dips for scares

Maybe something terror inspired? This looks great. How long did it take to make. What are your future plans for I need some suggestions for entity designs? Keep grinding, hero!
