Hi all. I work for Aardman Animations in Bristol (Shaun the Sheep / Wallace and Gromit etc) and I’ve been part of a small team making our first Roblox game for the last few months as a bit of an experiment.
It’s a tie-in with a new show we’ve made called Lloyd of the Flies which is about a family of flies who live inside an apple in a kitchen.
We’ve just released a beta version and would love to hear any feedback. Thanks!
So I had fun wandering about. I was surprised that there was no music in game, which made it feel quiet. The characters are cute. The environment and props are lovely, I really liked the reflectance on the sink drain hole. You can tell the production values are high, certainly more than I can knock together in MS Paint and an afternoon in Studio.
I’m really surprised more people haven’t noticed this post, considering the world class organisation behind it.
Would absolutely be a sucker for some sort of Wallace and Gromit game on the site, grew up watching it and it will always have a special place in my heart.
Maybe something where you’d have to go around collecting Wensleydale cheese? To keep on theme with the game here.
Just an idea, hope to see something soon. Once again very good job on the project. If I had to make a suggestion I’d work on the text tweening during the tutorial/intro bit as it looked a bit messy from my POV. But apart from that it’s great! Good job!
