Hello, I would like to be able to post topics in the collaboration section but I would like to know how can we become regular and how long does it take ?
It really depends, you have to use Post Approval a lot according to what some people say. You can also research this topic by using the search bar.
It varies on a lot of factors. Since the process is now automated, you will need certain stats (which no one really knows the exact amount needed). Basically, just contribute positively to the forums and you will eventually get it.
Personally, it took about 4 months after I joined the forums, but as I said, it depends.
Edit: But knowing, please do not use the forums just to get promoted or for such purposes, it is a place where people can help others and make positive contributions.
thank you very much for your answer
The staff won’t provide these specific details to the public because we’re keeping our forum safe from bots, scammers etc. Promotion is based on your contribution to the forum given that the majority of those contributions are with quality.
Thank very much! I love people like you who help new forum people!
You must post in a subcategory, not the root #collaboration category.
I don’t just want to be promoted. I just wish I could post topics in the collaboration category
Ah ok, thank you very much for this answer.
May I know where the subcategories are ?

When you go to #collaboration, you will see a button “all”, click that and you will the list above. Click one of those subcategories.
Note: You won’t see Private Recruitment because that’s for regulars.
Thanks again! You really are the best!
Your issue was coming from this.
You can’t post directly in collaboration, only on a subcategory such as recruitment and portfolios like metioned.
Thank you really! The roblox community is nicer than I thought!
Thank you very much to the people who helped me! This forum is different from the old one which dates back 5 years! Thank you very much for yours answer. Have a good day!
Pretty much impossible to get promoted as a translator, unless you can build or script
It’s a flaw of how our forum is setup. Our forum mainly focuses on development, so there’s not much opportunity for translators to contribute.
I know! That’s why I wish I were a masochist to enjoy endlessly requesting post approvals, not being able to reply in discussion/bug categories and having lower chances of getting invited to RDC
This is not a thing for this RDC or any going forward.
Trust level does not affect RDC invites or applications.
Please help us drill this in people’s head and get the misunderstanding out of the world: the only thing Regular affects is whether you can post in post-approval-restricted categories. If you don’t plan on using these categories, there is no need to get Regular, and you shouldn’t feel bad for not having it.
Sorry, but isn’t the RDC invitation campaign based on your forum activity? Regulars do have their hands untied as they can post in every category, including discussion and bug/features (these are the categories I find most relevant to me), unlike members. You may say I can use post approval, but it doesn’t let you reply in the unavailable to you categories and I’m honestly not motivated enough to request another feature and go thru the process of waiting again. So I think it does increase your chances of getting invited. (maybe not directly, I agree, but it gives you a lot of more opportunity to get invited and this fact is undeniable)
