I’m posting this here because I’m completely roadblocked from verifying my age, and the Persona system seems genuinely bugged right now.
I have tried to verify my ID roughly 100 times at this point, and it fails every single time. It keeps spitting out the exact same two errors: “Couldn’t Verify Photos” and “Make sure your ID details are clear to read”
The catch is that the photos are crystal clear. I’m using a modern phone camera, and I’ve gone out of my way to test every possible variable just to be absolutely sure it’s not a user error on my end. I’ve tried taking the photos in bright natural sunlight, different indoor lighting setups to make sure there’s zero glare, and putting the ID on different solid-colored backgrounds.
The text is perfectly crisp and easy to read, but the automated Persona system just rejects it in an endless loop anyway. Because I’ve tried this a hundred times in every environment possible, it definitely feels like a bug with the system itself, or maybe my account got stuck in some kind of auto-reject state.
Has anyone else run into this recently?
If any Roblox engineers or DevRel see this, could you please take a look? It’s incredibly frustrating being locked out of age-verified features when I’m providing perfectly valid, high-quality ID photos.
