my game has about 150-250 players on avg. and I really want to improve it.
The game is called “Garden Tycoon”. If I compare it with other popular tycoons, its not that good. There is much content but it still only takes ~20-30 mins to complete, other tycoons take 2-3 hours to complete or even more.
Because of that, im searching for many ideas to improve the game.
It would be great if you can finish the tycoon and then give me feedback and ideas on what to add.
In development: Tree House with buyable interior.
Field Expansion (more crops, reworking crops)
I really ran out of ideas on what to add, im working on this game for over 1 year now.
Ideas: Seasonal updates and holiday updates so players will come back more often to not miss out on your limited updates for the season or for the day.
That wont work with a tycoon. Players complete the tycoon 1 time and then never come back. Thats what 99% of the players do. The only thing i can do is to make the tycoon bigger to improve the visit length and make them join back because they couldn’t complete the tycoon in 1 play session. But i dont know how to expand it.
Thats a general suggestion There is enough space but it isnt filled yet, thats the problem. And i cant just add more plants, because idk which and where. And only plants are boring. Like I said, you should check the game out first, because if you do not you cant really make good suggestions.
You should consider rebalancing prices, as many of the buttons are really cheap, and some are unbalanced. In the greenhouse I can get a dropper for 5k then an upgrader for 150, while in the main house you start upgraders are more expensive than droppers.
This is just a very bad example, and you should probably get a few testers to tell you what parts of the tycoon feels too easy or needs rebalancing.
