Model Introduction
Over a year ago, I’ve created the “Retro materials - Pack” on Roblox. This project became dear to me, and I’ve decided to fully release it this year. [Post about the Old version can be seen here]
This is a paid Roblox model which includes all the Roblox materials which were available over the years. I’ve spent days looking for some of the models included in this pack and even more time to recreate them accurately with resources that I had available.
The pack is available for $2.99 on the creator marketplace & can be found here: https://create.roblox.com/store/asset/129174308820625/Classic-Materials-Pack-Pro

AI Warning:
I prefer being fully transparent about my work, and I know not many people support or like the usage of AI. During making of these materials I’ve been using AI for a little help. Below are all the instances in which I’ve used AI:
- Creating the Brass Material (Might change in the future, currently a placeholder) - Roblox Assistant.
- Created a program using the OGRE Engine which Allows me to view how the pre-2013 Materials behave in a 3D Space & how they’re generated. - Claude AI.
Behind the Scenes:
If you’re curious about the behind the scenes process of creating these materials, open up the list below:

Here’s a screenshot of what I’ve been dealing with while creating these materials:

- Adobe Substance 3D Designer
