Hello there, You may know me from my other posts, such as the Roblox on Linux guide, and you are probably here because you wanna learn about regional pricing, And that is exactly what this is. This guide will explain why, how, benefits, drawbacks and a spreadsheet of all the different pricing for every country. This guide hopes to teach you how the regional pricing feature works in a hopefully easy to understand manner
Also need to mention: I am not an expert in any of this, I have included sources at the very end, so if you are interested in learning more, go read up on that!
let’s begin with the why
Why?
Different places have different standards of living, this can be scaled from house to house to entire country’s economies.
If you live in France, you would have a relatively good standard of living. Your economy is stable, you can afford food, have a nice paying job, compare it to let’s say Afghanistan, where your economy basically doesn’t exist, you have a sketchy job and barely have a roof over your head.
To offset for these differences, many companies, now including Roblox developers can use 
regional pricing , things that previously seemed luxurious now becomes affordable to the average user, bringing up sales that previously wouldn’t of happened were it not for prices being lowered. The user can enjoy their new game pass, and you can enjoy getting Robux from places where you wouldn’t be getting any.
To continue with my previous point → Some people cannot afford game passes and in-game things, potential customers / players are turned away because a game considers all to have similar circumstances & money, real life is not like that, some people are poorer, and cannot afford a game pass,
This lowers the prices to accommodate that fact. This means people that want a game pass can afford it, and therefore you get some robux, even if it’s not the entire pie. Better than absolute 0, you and the player both benefit as a result.

Benefits
Moving onto benefits
touching on a previous point from “Why”, this feature allows people to afford game passes regardless of their economic situation, This has a simple effect: You get a sale, and the player gets a good experience. Mutual win-win. The reason this is a win for you is because you likely wouldn’t of gotten the sale otherwise.
It also allows you to expand your studio / development team faster than before. Pretty simple to understand this: People from 3rd world countries buy more rather than very slightly → you have more money → money = ability to expand your studio / dev team.
- You can disable this feature anytime if you don’t like it.
Drawbacks
Despite the many advantages, we also need to look at the drawbacks.

This has a chance of hurting revenue! Depending on your pricing, this feature could hurt your revenue! As if you price your gamepasses low enough as is to a point where everyone can afford it, you should not enable this feature.

It’s also impossible to change the prices from region to region once enabled, What Roblox gives you is what you are stuck with. Either pay full price or Roblox’s regional pricing. Refer to the spreadsheet
