If you sell your group and you have a LLC for that group, Do you have to give up your LLC?

  1. I was wondering if you can legally sell your group and not have to worry about the money that comes from that being seized, or questioned, and do you have to give up your LLC if your group is successfully sold?

  2. Does selling your group count as a business transaction?

  3. I have tried searching but could not find anything on this particularly

If you sell your Roblox group (Which is an asset owned by your LLC), you don’t have to dissolve the LLC. The LLC still exists, and the sale money goes to it—not you personally (yet).

  • Asset Sale = Sell just the group, keep the LLC.
  • Entity Sale = Sell the entire LLC (including the group).

The sale is a business transaction—use a contract and report it properly. Money is only at risk if the sale is shady or taxes aren’t paid.

TL;DR: No, selling the group doesn’t force you to give up the LLC. Just handle the sale legally.

(For tax/legal specifics, consult a professional as this varies from country to country.)
