For whatever reason, when I upload my Image of the game thumbnail (not the Icon) it gets slightly blurry on tablet however on phone and my computer it’s a decent image quality. However, when I first upload the thumbnail it’s perfectly fine on all of my devices then when I check back an hour later, its blurry on tablet. I don’t exactly know what to do, I’ve switch the files between PNG and JPEG both haven’t really fixed the problem all it does is the same thing where it’s perfectly fine on all devices at first and then it goes blurry on tablet. Any solutions?
Going to bump this topic, I’m still experiencing this issue even when uploading new game thumbnails. Game thumbnails resolution drops after reloading the app a few times on Tablet, though on PC and Phone they seem to stay relatively the same resolution. I’ve seen poor resolution images on Tablet for some thumbnails for some games and they may be running into the same issue. What’s weird is that some games thumbnails on Tablet stay perfectly fine. I’ve tried exporting the images from JPG and PNG, although the same output occurs for both. Just to be specific this is for game thumbnails, not game icons.
I’ve seen thumbnail resolutions drop on several games now, which were perfectly fine months ago and haven’t been touched in awhile. Keep in mind, this is on all on IPad. I may as well report this as a bug if no one decides to pitch and say if I’m going about doing this wrong, etc. You can read the post above for more details on the bug/issue.
This seems to be fixed, I reuploaded my thumbnails for my game and they seem to be pretty good resolution. If you’ve been having this issue, just reupload your thumbnails and you should be fine. I’ve seen popular games lose their resolution for thumbnails when they haven’t even touched it since they’ve made the game. Interesting bug; then again it seems to be fixed for the most part. (I’d recommend uploading your thumbnails from studio because that worked the best for me)
