Hey, does anyone know if its possible to import animations from other games like fortnite, into a roblox rig? Or would it be better off trying to recreate the animation.

Its better off to make your own assets rather then using ones that are well known be unique.

yeah of course, just wanting to know if its possible, since their animations are so well made i think it would be cool

You can find them in the toolbox but you need to import the one you want then get the id then put in in an animation

oh yeah i know that, i am talking about an fbx animation i have exported from the game already, i just don’t know if its possible to put that animation on a roblox rig since its made for a fortnite character

I think is not possible to do that directly
The number of bones, names etc on each game is custom from that game. So the rig bone structure wont match and impossible to solve the animation correctly.
You firstly should make somekind of translation, since I didnt test that yet, idk how you could… but its a lot of wasted effort, another approach could be, make ur own animation similar to the ones you like :v
