Impossible to type in scripts

this is me trying to type local… and as you can see its “rendering” multiple key presses from me pressing a key once

This also happens outside of script editor
example if i close the script editor with ctrl + w its still rendering the ctrl key so when i go to open the script it just selects it

it happens in all of my games

Expected behavior

I expect for one key press to be equal to one key press not multiple

Hi,

Does this only happen in RobloxStudio? Have you try any other IDE or just try typing in notepad see the issue persist?

its only in studio its fine in notepad

somehow else told me they had this same problem but they didn’t do anything and it went away its been like this for 3 days now for me

Hi, would you send studio log to me through DM? And what does your “About RobloxStudio” dialog looks like?

This happened on my old computer while playing Roblox, I just assumed that my keyboard was broken because it was really cheap and got a new one

Would you try enabling FilterKeys see that works for you?

Also, is it possible to login your account from another computer to see the issue is still persist?

this fixes the issue of it pressing the same key over and over but now i can’t hold backspace to delete

Update not fixed :frowning: its continuing to happen and its worse when i have to script tabs opened

Another Update: Changing my resolution and refresh rate seemed to fix it again

Could you try logging into your account from another machine to see if the issue still occurs?
