Improper undo/redo after certain actions leading to instance deletion and incorrect restore locations

Summary
Rather than being reverted to a previous state, instances are sometimes being completely removed from the game upon undoing or redoing certain actions (i.e. grouping/ungrouping or pasting). Alternatively, instances sometimes instead reappear in the wrong location.

Expected Results
Undo actions should properly revert the change that was made, and redo should properly revert the undo.

Videos
Test case 1 (inside another group): group, undo. Undo deletes both parts. Redoing restores the model.

Test case 2: ungroup, undo. Undo brings back the model but does not place the parts inside. Redoing removes the model again.

Test case 3 is case 1 without being in another model: undo works properly. Redo acts as case 2.

Running latest version, an example of this happening for me is if I accidentally delete a union and undo, the union just doesn’t show up again.

Dude I haven’t used Roblox in a whiiile, just got back to it and I’m facing the same inconsistency issue with the undo button. I’m glad it’s getting a fix because good lord is this bug annoying.

The undo button is one of the things that SHOULD NEVER go wrong.

Unfortunately for mine, it did, and it legit scrambled everything I organized…

Update: it appears that I am also experiencing this issue with pasting instances.

Please try updating Studio to version 0.695.1.6950959. The fix should be in that version. Let me know if that works!

Great to hear, it seems to be working now. Thanks!
