There are currently several tools that make importing 3d objects easier. It would be possible to import 3d objects without them and set up an avatar without AutoAvatarSetUp. But now it’s much easier and time efficient.[spoiler]
As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard, frustrating, and time-consuming to import 2D objects (UI) from e.g Figma to Roblox. You design a really nice UI, but as soon as you import it, all the precious calculated distances are wrong, the UI elements have different heights, and so on. Awful. You need to spend a lot more time in Studio to fix the UI than to create it in Figma. So a native way like AutoAvatarSetUp or this new 3d object import for UI would be really nice and improve the workflow of creating an experience.

Maybe something like that, but the topic looks quite abandoned.
