Improvements for Gun Fight

I have worked hard developing this game  But for some reasons it feels like it is missing something! Anyone have any suggestions?

I love the UI and the weapons! Its amazing.

I would change the map (im 100% sure its a free model) and I would have leveling system. Which you can fight other enemies, like skeletons. So you have to fight off npcs and real players.

First you need to ask yourself what kind of game you want to make it - right now it seems like a showcase for the guns and weapons you have made, and so far they all look really great. Here are two ideas I would suggest thinking about:

PvP shooter?

If you want to make a PvP shooter, you will have a lot of competition - there are games like arsenal, counter blox, and so forth. From the games like this I have played, however, your guns do feel a lot more realistic - personally I feel they would be better in a PvE game, but that is just my opinion so don’t let me tell you what to do.
Because there’s a good amount of competition, you’ll need to make something unique to stand out, or if you want to make a similar game you’ll have to work harder to make yours better than the rest.

PvE shooter?

When I think of PvE shooters, I first think of games like Call of Duty and Halo. If you want a PvE shooter, you will have to figure out a campaign for the game, maps for that campaign, and so forth. Or, you could make it more like CoD zombies, which would require less maps. Personally, I think the CoD zombies approach would be easier to make, but I haven’t really seen any campaign based shooters on roblox, so that would be something new and could stand out.

There are also PvE shooters with PvP in them, like many of the survival/zombie games on roblox. You could also very well take this route, and here I would suggest developing attachments for your weapons.

Of course, if you have any other ideas I would greatly encourage you to think about them as well.

Here are also few things that you could do to improve the gunplay:
  • Add impact decals - when a bullet hits a wall or some inanimate object, put a bullet hole on the site of impact
  • Bullet visuals - the casings are amazing, if you can add bullet trails or some visual for the bullet fired so you can see where it goes that would make it look even better
  • Spray patterns - If you want this to be a PvP type game, this becomes even more important. Spray patterns helps make the gunplay more varied, so not all the guns will feel the same (except for in terms of firerate and damage). This may already be implemented, but it was hard for me to tell without being able to see where my bullets were going
  • Crosshairs - I think adding crosshairs would make hip-firing a lot easier

Hope this helps!
