Improving a Game's Number of Impressions

Recently I’ve been updating my game frequently in an attempt to gain new players, however my Roblox game, despite going up in playtime and having a decent retention rate and number of total engagement hours, is not getting recommended to new players. Since I’ve been updating my concurrent player count has doubled, as well as my engagement hours, however, my impressions have been consistently declining. This is very irritating, as when I search a keyword in my game, the word kingdom, other games with no concurrent players and tiny amounts of visits are getting recommended over my game with over 300k and a small concurrent player count.

I assume that Roblox’s algorithm mostly weighs a mixture of the stats that you have on your analytics overview, however, it seems like my game should be ranked about some of these tiny games in every area, yet it’s getting treated worse by the Roblox algorithm. Does anyone know why this may be the case, and how I can fix it? Improving my overview metrics hasn’t helped.

I’m also on the forum today looking for answers on this. I have 2 active games:

#1 is a quick demo type game I put together in 4 days and I’ve never updated it since. It has awful stats, nobody likes or favourites the game and it has made less than 3k ROBUX in 4 months of operation. It has no ad spend. Roblox loves this game and consistently fills it with 100-200 players.

#2 is a new take on a popular roblox genre. 2 months of development, amazing stats that meet or exceed all of the highlighted metrics (retention, session time, etc). 8k favourites, 85% like ratio, $10 daily ad spend for 6 weeks. I expected the algorithm to pick up this game, and it did - it went up to 700 CCU in 1 week and then roblox completely dropped it, back to 0 recommendations and even with continuing $10/day ad spend it has less CCU than game #1.

I used to have faith in maintaining good stats to get players but now I just feel completely lost as this all just seems random

Perhaps I should try reporting this as a bug. A game with 8k visits and no concurrent users being recommended over a game with 300k visits and an active player base is completely illogical. There are probably some behind-the-scenes factors that are weighted way too heavily.
