[In-Dev] Precise Melee Combat

Howdy DevForum, it’s aybudd.
For the past couple months I’ve been making progress on my project, Into the Darkness (closed testing at the moment,) which utilizes server-authoritative movement, server to client state replication, server to client fog of war (no esp cheats,) precise raycasted melee attacks, and I am working on implementing directional attacks using inverse kinematics.

The agenda for the last month and a half has been a complete network overhaul, and reworking the character controller’s constraints to allow for finer motor controls along with realistic joints when using inverse-kinematics.

This looks great though I do find it hilarious on how your opponent literallt folded when they died lol, maybe just try making that partore realistic.

Haha good call, inadvertently this should be solved with the inclusion of Inverse Kinematics, as they have constraints and can’t fold on themselves anymore :slight_smile:

would be cool if you used the new part cutting feature, but the characters would have to be parts/unions
