For the past couple months I’ve been making progress on my project, Into the Darkness (closed testing at the moment,) which utilizes server-authoritative movement, server to client state replication, server to client fog of war (no esp cheats,) precise raycasted melee attacks, and I am working on implementing directional attacks using inverse kinematics.
The agenda for the last month and a half has been a complete network overhaul, and reworking the character controller’s constraints to allow for finer motor controls along with realistic joints when using inverse-kinematics.
Haha good call, inadvertently this should be solved with the inclusion of Inverse Kinematics, as they have constraints and can’t fold on themselves anymore
