Incompatible software crash

Tried to start up Roblox today but got a crash due to incompatible software.
The incompatible software in question? AVG Antivirus.

Not sure how or why this is happening and i can’t really play the game now without UNINSTALLING the antivirus as a whole, which i will not be doing.

Expected behavior

Roblox should start up normally.

I can confirm i had this same issue, apparently AVG was flagging roblox as malware, and i couldn’t get it fixed, even sfter whitelistin robkox. i had to uninstall avg, but luckily it wasnt essential, so i will just have to stick with windows defender for now :sweat_smile:

I would recommend whitelisting Roblox, as it may be being flagged by the avg.

Same thing happening with Avast, disabling fixed the issue

it appears this has been fixed, roblox launches just fine with avg on now
marking as solved
