Identical SurfaceAppearance objects, with identical ColorMap and all other properties, show completely differently in Edit mode and Play Solo. See Examples below (Edit first, then Play Solo/Run (both have same issue) in the examples):

Expected behavior
I, quite reasonably, would expect that the meshes would appear identical in Play Solo & Edit mode. This is a genuine issue, among many other issues like this I come across when working on Roblox games all the time, with a lack of consistency. This uses up massive amounts of time because you are forced to play through every feature on every type - edit mode, play solo, then the game itself, and then every platform of the game. I don’t know what is causing this. I have attached an .rbxl file in the private staff-only section.
This type of issue is often the reason I lose motivation when working on new games.
Edit: I have identified the cause of the issue, it’s graphics rendering settings. On higher rendering settings, the level of transparency appears to be higher, which is… confusing? I presume its to do with the resolution the texture is being rendered at, but I’m confused as to why this would cause such a large change in the opacity/transparency.
