Inconsistent timezone logs between Dev Stats and Version History

Page URL: https://www.roblox.com/places/IDHERE/stats
Impact: Moderate
Frequency: Constantly
Date First Experienced:
Date Last Experienced:

Reproduction Steps:

  • Using Google Chrome
  • Go to a game of yours

  • Go to Developer stats:https://www.roblox.com/places/ IDHERE /stats

  • Scroll down to see charts and tables which are set to what I’m assuming PST

  • Open the same game in studio

  • Go to Home → Game Settings → Places

  • Click the 3 dots for the place you saw the stats for

  • Click Version history

  • You will see that the times displayed are in your own timezone and not PST (unless your timezone is PST)

Expected Behavior:
Wasn’t sure what to report this as a Studio Bug or a Website bug, but decided to go with the website as it’d be better for the user to see times in their own timezone instead of needing to convert it manually.

Note: Please indicate somewhere that the times displayed are of your own timezone, that way should a team of developers try to compare they wouldn’t be confused thinking it’s all one timezone (heh or ya know show us both timezones  )

Actual Behavior:
The website dev stats show logs in PST, while the version history log inside studio shows the viewer’s timezone

Hello, thanks for the report. As you’ve noted, this is caused by the fact that version history within Studio is handled user side - depends on set time zone. Unfortunately, fixing it isn’t currently on the roadmap.
