I am thinking about making a shop system for my game, and to make it work I want to create an ingame currency, which people can get from playing the game or buying it with Robux.
What I want to know is if there’s a problem to make the ingame money purchasable with robux, and if I need some sort of purchase history for this system. In case people complain their money disappeared would that system be valid to show that I had nothing to do with it?
For example, Noob123 bought 500 cash by spending 50 robux, roblox already has a purchase history for this, but then he buys something accidentaly with that cash and says his money disappeared, would I have to prove he’s lying or it wasn’t my fault?
Yes you can make your in-game currency purchasable with R$. This is a silly question to ask, the majority of games on Roblox do this.
As for proof of refunds, it’s best to include a way to refund players with the in-game currency equivalent if an issue comes up, but it isn’t enforced, it’s just… good to do because otherwise players can get upset, and it’s typically easy enough to handle if designed that way.
But in case it happens and it isnt fixed, is there some way I can get in trouble, like my game getting removed? Of course, I would be testing the currency for some time without robux purchases just to be sure there won’t be any issues/exploits, like an item they bought disappearing after some purchase or their money value chaning for no apparent reason.
