I’m not entirely sure if this is the right place to post but I couldn’t really think of a place to get community help — though there probably is one.
I went to go play a game on Roblox and for some reason, my trackpad was delayed by a couple of seconds after usage and same with my keyboard. I’m on MacOS if that means anything but I’ve never had anything like this happen before. When I join a game, it’s not laggy itself and the FPS is normal, and when I just use my keyboard, it’s fine. But the second I use my trackpad to click or move my camera all inputs whether it be from keyboard or my trackpad are delayed by a couple of seconds. At first I thought this happened only in one game but it happens in every game.
I tried uninstalling Roblox, clearing cache, restarting my laptop: but nothing. I got into a game and it seemed fine at first, and I could use my trackpad but after changing something in settings, it all went back to crap.
If anyone knows what’s going on or why this is, that’d be helpful! I only started experiencing this today by the way.
Me too, I updated to beta 5 but that didn’t seem to solve the issue. I did notice that when 60FPS was the FPS cap, it seemed to possibly take longer to begin but that could just be a coincidence.
This seems like an issue with a specific Roblox Version then, so your best bet would be to just wait for Roblox to drop another update. EDIT: This issue seems to have been resolved.
Yeah I was hoping something like that would happen soon. I did notice that Studio got two updates, and the 2nd one for me fixed all input lag during play testing. Before, if I physically clicked and didn’t tap-to-click it would cause a similar issue that’s going on right now where input lag would occur. I also noticed in general the UI is much faster and not like 30FPS, like it was before this most recent studio update.
