Insanely High Client memory usage on Console – 1.3 BILLION GB?!

While reviewing the Performance section on my Roblox Creator Dashboard of Pooping Simulator, I came across a particularly strange and interesting graph that immediately caught my attention. I wanted to share it here to see if anyone else has experienced something similar or might have insight into what’s going on.

Yes, you’re reading that right, 1.3 BILLION GB of client memory usage on console.

This obviously doesn’t seem real or normal, so now I’m left wondering:

  • Is this just a visual/reporting bug in the analytics system?
  • Or could it indicate a deeper underlying issue with memory reporting or game performance on console?

Would love to hear if anyone else has run into this or knows more about what could cause something like this. :rofl:

hang on aint that a exabyte or something?

That seems unreasonbly high for a game with 25 million visits and 25 active and I feel like something’s going on

Yes it is an exabyte, some memory leak perhaps?

yeah 1.3 billion gigabytes is just some small memory leak

That memory leak is killing the site right now.

this memory leak saved the site, today’s picks is gone and favorites is at the top of the home page

edit: nevermind the layout changes everytime i refresh

This happened earlier as well, it’s just a visual mistake. Most games had absurd ram usage out of the blue.

Is that 99 yottabytes??? How even is that possible? In perspective, Google’s storage capacity is about 15-20 exabytes; managing to go 4950000 times over that amount has got to be some feat, I have never seen that before
