So why would you hire people to act as a secure layer, that aren’t 100% trustworthy to deal with people’s creations that they spent time and effort on???
You’ve set yourself up for failure.
Look everyone, our services are not required or anything, this is solely optional and is based on your decision, we are just describing what we have in our server, we have lots of other activities and things to do here, it is not solely on getting developers.
We never said we were better then DevFourm, we have a documentation and other training’s they complete.
I think I’m speaking for everyone in this topic when I say: we’re not trying to put you or your community on blast. We simply have a host of unanswered questions.
As I said earlier, why create a service that isn’t trustworthy and use it as a selling point for your server? Your just dodging questions
I understand, we are here to do our best to understand your opinions, and give you a reasonable response.
I compared your service to the Developer Forum since that’s the service you’re trying to replace.
Define “selling point” 30 char
Selling point as in a feature or service you are using to attract people to your discord server.
It is one of our features, it is not our main feature, our main feature is to help the development community out. It is one of our services although, and we have stated before we do not 100% assure you will be scammed or not scammed.
The devforum has more experienced scripters, builders, etc. I just don’t see the point in developer spawn. It is almost exactly a replica of the devforum except has less members and a higher scam rate. Users on the devforum can be trusted more than those that are in a group that anyone can join.
I didn’t say it was your main feature, and again, as I said before, why offer a service that isn’t 100% trustworthy which deals with people’s creations that time and effort has been put into.
We cannot and no one can guarantee you not getting scammed. What scam investigators does is investing any members that may be potential scammers to keep the community scammers free. If you’re conducting a project between you and a developer we cannot control that. If you would like us to investigate someone, we will provide the resource and assist you in such. We DO NOT prevent scamming. We try our best to AVOID scammers.
You are not 100% going to not be scammed on DevFourm, we offer various other things to do here fam, it is not solely on hiring developers. Just something I wanted to do in my free time.
On the devforum there is much more that can be done about scamming than on your discord server.
The chances of getting scammed are higher on your group.
Like I have previously said, you are not required to join there is no requirement to join or use any of this, it is something we are offering.
I agree with questionthonk. The devforum is a trusted website and can be relied on. You never stated what help you would give to those who got scammed.
If you believe this, you do not have to use our system or join, it is just there for support, if you would like it.
We are not trying to replace the forum. We are simply providing an alternative to those who are not members of the forum or would prefer another community.
