Invalid Limited Item Listing Stays on the Catalog After Rollback

A victim’s account was recently compromised, and during the compromise, one of their limited items was listed for sale at 214,283 Robux, which is significantly below its recent average sales (around 300k+).

However, the item was rolled back, which means the limited item in question was removed from the compromiser’s account. The listing for 214,283 Robux from their account still exists, even though they do not own the item.

Expected behavior

When an account rollback removes a limited item from a user’s inventory, any corresponding active listings for that item on the catalog should be automatically delisted.

We can see that he does not own the item through the API.

(On mine)

In my opinion, during a rollback every item that get’s removed should be checked if they are being sold on the roblox marketplace so they can be delisted as well.

To the engineer that removed his listing, it has been automatically replaced with his old listing, as he has reduced the price of the listing multiple times previously in the past. It seems that when you remove his listing it just shows his old listing, even though he does NOT own the listing.

Thank you for the report. We have assigned to our team for additional review.

Hi @Arylist , upon investigation we found that there is a copy of JJ5x5's White Top Hat - Roblox in the user’s inventory and the listing was created or updated just a few days ago.
