It’s always bothered me when I’m repeatedly pressing “next” on my inventory on my profile, but then one page happens to be a couple lines taller and I end up clicking on a hat instead of pressing the next arrow. This sucks.

The problem is that there’s no set boundary for item title length. If you’ve got items that only take up one line up text, the pages are the same height. But as soon as one item title jumps down into a second line, the inventory area jumps down one line length.
My suggestion:
Restrict the title length for items appearing in inventories to one line, using ellipses to truncate the title. When a user mouses over an item, the full title shows.
This will be fixed when the new inventory page is released
