Inventory system - item limits

I have an inventory system in my in-development place that limits your tool amount based on categories. However, I would like to know your opinion on the item limits. Please also give your reason on why you choose the option.

Option 1: 1 primary, 1 secondary, 1 grenade, 2 keycards, 3 miscellaneous (8 total)
Option 2: 1 primary, 1 secondary, 6 miscellaneous (8 total)
Feel free to also suggest custom limitations.

To clarify:

Miscellaneous items are items such as medkits or in the case of option 2, grenades and keycards.

There are 2 keycards in option 1 because keycards and doors in my place dont use levels, instead they use different tiers for different types of rooms such as Armory Access tier, people might want to take more keycards due to some being better in certain tiers than others, but others being the opposite.

The game is a round-based fps taking place in an underground facility and its surface with multiple classes (SCP setting)

I’d suggest option 2 if you want the players to feel more controlling of their resources
I’d suggest option 1 if you were going for the player needing to keep close management on resources so they don’t run out!
