As a Roblox developer, it is currently impractical to find the most relevant replies to some topics for which the most relevant replies are the most recent ones (which is usually the case for Community Resources threads)
It is common for replies in Community Resources to be about bugs, and so as the bug is fixed, the reply is no longer relevant, but it still lingers at the top. It is also common for the developer of the resource to post updates as replies, which would make the most sense at the top of the thread. Community Resources threads can last for multiple years, accumulating a lot of replies, and so it doesn’t make a lot of sense for the older ones to be at the forefront of the thread. Can’t expect someone to read through years of replies, users have to jump to the bottom of the page
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my experience using the forum because it would allow me and other forum users to see the most relevant replies of a Community Resources thread, first
This could also apply to other categories, but I don’t really see the benefit for most. Development discussion nah, help and feedback definitely not, …
A downside would be confusion between categories. Having some be in the order of oldest to newest and others in the inverse order could be confusing
